Absa set out to redesign their existing Express Banking platform to improve usability and support future digital banking features.
As part of the design team, I contributed to UI design, user research activities, and the development of the platform’s design system foundations.

To improve navigation and structure, we also conducted card sorting and usability testing. I organised and facilitated three testing sessions, helping validate assumptions and identify usability improvements.
I contributed to the platform’s UI design and style guide, defining reusable interface components including typography, colour systems, and button structures.
These components helped establish a consistent design system for the platform.
The redesign introduced a cleaner, more structured interface and a scalable UI foundation that supports future digital banking features.
